Golden Halloween Parade on October 31

Our Halloween Parade will be on October 31st at 8:05 AM. All families are invited to attend.

  • All gates will open before school as usual.
  • Students should enter the gates as usual before 7:50 AM and line up on the blacktop for Walk & Talk.
  • Families may not enter until 7:55 AM. We ask that you wait outside the gates until that time.
  • Volunteers will be stationed at each gate to hand out wristbands to all visitors after check-in.
  • All family members must use the QR code (provided at the gate) to check in and receive a wristband before entering campus.
  • Gates will close and lock at 8:10 AM during the parade and will reopen for 10 minutes at the end to allow families to exit.
  • If you arrive after 8:05 AM, please check in through the front office or main gate, as volunteers will be watching the parade.
  • If you are volunteering in your child’s classroom after the parade, please check in at the front office once the parade concludes.

All gates will be open for entry, including the Main Gate, George Key, Cartlen, Mignon, Heloise, and Koch Park gates.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to keep our campus safe and secure during this special event.

Costume Guidelines

When planning your costumes, please keep the following in mind, as these are the guidelines and expectations for the day:

  • Costumes should be tasteful, modest, and appropriate for a school environment.
  • No form of weapon, blood, or gore may be part of the costume.
  • Costumes must permit students to sit and participate in the learning process for the day. Students may bring a change of clothes if they would like.
  • This should be a fun day for all children, so we are asking that scary characters from movies or shows not be part of the day. We need to be sensitive to younger students on campus and current world events.
