Kindness Week

Golden Eagle News: Week of January 26, 2026

Dear Golden Families,

We are excited to kick off Kindness Week with multiple activities to engage our students! Both PAL and Student Council, our leadership groups, have planned some amazing events. Let’s start tomorrow by wearing your favorite team gear. It is going to be an amazing week! Of course every week we strive to be kind, and it is a great reminder to highlight the kindness of our students, staff, and community!

We also have Science Night this week on Thursday! Come enjoy dinner, hands-on STEM activities, learn about animals, investigate exciting experiments, check out robotics, and so much more. We will be opening the gate near childcare at the front of the school for this event. If you have not RSVPed, you can still attend. This is a free event brought to you by our amazing PTA and one you will not want to miss. We hope to see you there!

Golden Eagle News: Week of January 19, 2026

Dear Golden Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying the three-day weekend. The weather has been warm and sunny, which feels like a sign to stay on track, keep working hard, and continue shining bright. As you all know, Golden is such a special school, and I am truly honored to be part of this amazing community.

I wanted to share that our PTA Jog-a-Thon was extremely successful, and I am working closely with our Jog-a-Thon coordinator to roll out prizes for our students. The first prize will be sent home on Tuesday. I believe it is a cooler cup. Once we have a finalized schedule for all prize rollouts, we will be sure to share it. Most of the activities are already scheduled, and we are just waiting on one more. It is always such a fun experience for our Golden Eagles.

I also want to highlight the important information below regarding our fourth through sixth grade midwinter concert, help needed for our lost and found, safety reminders, and our exciting parenting class coming soon.

As always, we have many exciting things happening at Golden. Please do not forget to RSVP for Science Night and have your student wear a college T-shirt or sweatshirt on Wednesday for College Wear Wednesday.
