Beginning February 19, Golden Avenue will be closed at the Golden Bridge due to a major construction project. This closure is expected to last through September and will significantly impact our already busy arrival and dismissal procedures. Your patience, cooperation, and commitment to following procedures will be essential during this time.
Morning Arrival
Families should plan to access campus using Bastanchury or Imperial Highway to Valencia Avenue, then proceed to Golden Avenue. Please note that you will not be able to enter Golden Avenue from Rose Drive during the closure. After completing valet drop-off, exit the parking lot by turning right, then turn right again onto McCormack, and continue to Bastanchury.
Afternoon Dismissal
All vehicles exiting the Golden valet parking lot must turn right, which will direct traffic onto McCormack Avenue to Bastanchury. Please drive slowly and respectfully through the neighborhood, as residents are not accustomed to this increased traffic flow. We have been informed that U-turns along Golden Avenue are not permitted, as they create unsafe conditions near the crosswalk area. The Placentia Police Department will be monitoring traffic to support safety.
