Our Exceptional Educator Event is a special evening dedicated to honoring the outstanding educators and staff across PYLUSD. Each spring, families in our community are invited to nominate district professionals, including teachers, instructional aides, therapists, and support staff, who have made a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of students with special needs. This event is proudly sponsored in collaboration with our Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and serves as a wonderful opportunity to recognize those who go above and beyond in support of our students and families.
We are thrilled to share that both Mrs. Saede Lussier and Mrs. Samantha Zadah were awarded this prestigious honor!
Mrs. Lussier teaches a kindergarten and first grade class, and Mrs. Zadah teaches third and fourth grade students. Both educators truly embody our school vision of inclusion, high standards, compassion, and excellence. Our students benefit from exceptional instruction, supported by our incredible special education team in collaboration with our general education staff.
At Golden, we believe ALL means ALL, and both of these teachers demonstrate that belief every single day. They work tirelessly with dedication, heart, and perseverance to ensure every student is supported and successful, even when the work is challenging. The impact they make is immeasurable, and we could not be more proud to celebrate them.
