One of our favorite Golden traditions is happening this week! 💙💛 Lunch with a Loved One will be held on Tuesday, September 22 and Thursday, September 24.
Twice a year, we invite our families onto campus to enjoy lunch with their Golden Eagle. This is always a favorite event for our students and community, and we love seeing our field filled with Golden families!
We know that work schedules and other commitments can make it difficult for everyone to attend. We offer two dates, divided by last name, so that there are plenty of families on campus each day. While we hope you can join us, please do not worry if you are unable to attend. Your child will be surrounded by friends and our Golden staff!
Families are invited based on your child's last name. Please attend only your assigned day:
- ⭐ Tuesday, September 22: Last Names A–K
- ⭐ Thursday, September 24: Last Names L–Z
Lunch Schedule
- TK–3: 11:10 AM–12:10 PM
Grades 4–6: 12:15–1:15 PM
A Few Important Reminders:
- All families must check in before entering campus. Please enter through the Main Gate only. No other gates will be open for this event.
- Parking can be tricky at Golden! Please park along Golden Avenue or in the surrounding neighborhoods. Do not block driveways or park in the staff parking lot. Please allow yourself extra time to park and walk to campus.
- Bring a blanket, chairs, umbrella, or even a small table and find a comfortable spot on our grassy field.
- Please bring lunch for yourself and your child. Students may also get a school lunch if they prefer.
- The whole family is welcome! If you bring younger siblings, please supervise them throughout the event.
- Our 6th graders will be selling popsicles for $1 cash to help support their sixth-grade activities!
- We will also have some vintage and gently worn Golden spirit wear available. Items will be clearly marked as previously worn.
Most importantly, come ready to enjoy some special time with your Golden Eagle! 🦅💙💛
