It’s time for PTA Reflections! 💙💛
We are excited to once again invite ALL Golden students to participate in this wonderful PTA program celebrating student creativity and the arts. Our Golden Eagles are incredibly talented, and we can’t wait to see what this year’s theme inspires!
🌟 2026–27 Reflections Theme: “What My Culture Means to Me”
Students can bring the theme to life through one of six categories:
🎨 Visual Arts
📸 Photography
✍️ Literature
🎵 Music Composition
💃 Dance Choreography
🎬 Film Production
📅 All entries are due by October 9!
Before beginning, please be sure to review the Division & Category Guidelines. Pay special attention to size limitations and originality requirements. Student work must be original and cannot include copyrighted or licensed characters.
Music Composition, Literature, Dance Choreography & Film Production:
Please attach a digital copy of the completed piece to the Golden Reflections Google Form.
Visual Arts & Photography:
Please upload a photo of the work to the Google Form AND turn in the original piece to the Golden front office by October 10. Be sure the student's name, grade, and teacher are clearly marked on the BACK of the piece.
🌟 And there’s more!
Every Golden student who participates will be invited to our special Reflections Reception Recess Party later in the school year. This is always a fun celebration that our students look forward to!
The top three pieces in each category and age division at Golden will advance to council-level judging and will be included in the PYLUSD Reflections Showcase in March. First-place winners at that level have the opportunity to continue to 4th District, State, and even the National level!
We love cheering on our Golden Eagles as their creativity is recognized and celebrated! ⭐️
