Dear Golden Families,

Wow! Thank you to all the families who attended Back to School Night last week, it did not disappoint. You are such an important part of your child's education, and we value your partnership. I enjoyed seeing many familiar faces and meeting some of our new families.

This week I am happy to invite you to Coffee with the Principals. Mrs. Dempsey and I look forward to sharing some of the highlights, goals, and programs for this upcoming year. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have. We love to connect with our community.

Dear Golden Families,

What an incredible first week! The joy, excitement, and big smiles across campus have been contagious. I am so proud of our staff and students, and I know this is the start of a truly amazing year. Thank you, families, for your partnership in making sure our Golden Eagles arrive each day ready to learn. In just three short days, our students are already settling into routines and showing great responsibility in following school expectations.

It has been such a successful start, and I cannot wait to watch our Golden Eagles continue to shine bright throughout the year!

A quick reminder - this Thursday is Back to School Night for grades 1–6 and all SDC classes. Your attendance is so important, and I encourage you to attend. Please remember this is an adult-only evening, so plan ahead for child care.

We also have Coffee with the Principals coming up on September 9th as well as free parenting classes about Internet Safety & Awareness. Read below for more information.

Dear Golden Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I hope you are all as excited as I am for school to begin. There is nothing as exciting as the first day of school. I can't wait to see all of our amazing students back on campus, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of our new Golden Eagles as well! Our teachers have been busy preparing their classrooms to welcome your children! As many of you know, Golden is a very special place, and our school community is ready to kick off another wonderful year! We are going to Shine Bright and Stay Golden this year!
